Here are some pics of my first scrapbook pages from our trip to Canada in 2004. This was our first 'proper' family holiday and was taken just 27 days after my hubby finished his radiotherapy treatment for throat cancer, so it was a very precious and important time for us all.
This is as far as I've got at the moment, but I've got lots of photos and I kept a diary every day so will update as and when I finish more pages!
We flew into Calgary and spent the first four days there, then travelled all across the Rocky Mountains, staying in another seven towns before finishing in Vancouver for the last week. All in all we spent 18 days there and I can honestly say it was the best holiday we have ever had. Despite Sandy not feeling on top form, he did all of the driving and to be honest, I think the thought of the holiday kept him going during some very dark days.
Anyway, enough gloom - he's back to good health now so onto the photos, all taken in Calgary:
Awwww Helen you are so lucky. Canada is one of the places i would love to visit. The pages look beautifully done and the photos are lovely. Your "apples" were confiscated???
